Maritime Music Programs
Chantey Sings
Sea chanteys are work songs and foc'sle ditties with great choruses that connect our present day maritime traditions and lore to those of the past. Come and lead a song of the sea or just join in on the chorus. Chanteys and sea songs are easy to learn and fun to sing for adults and children alike.
Next Chantey Sing: Friday, February 12th with Dan Roberts!
February's Chantey Sing will be on the historic steamboat Virginia V. Dan Roberts will be there to keep the music flowing with his renouned voice (it spans three octaves!). Download a .pdf poster here and distribute it to your friends, family, and neighbors to help us promote this event!
