New NWS Website Launched!
We've been quietly working on our website for the past several weeks, but now it's officially up and running! Our new layout will help us bring you more information about our historic fleet, our programs, our projects, and how you can help with all of this and more!
We're especially excited about the new "Projects" section in our left-hand navigation bar. As you can already see, we have a lot of great restoration projects happening right now, including the Rehabilitation of the Lightship No. 83, a two-year process to open our grand old steam lightship to the public here at Lake Union Park. Stay tuned for more information, more updates, and more contents -- we're putting them up as fast as we can!

Tugboat Story Time on the Arthur Foss
Northwest Seaport has been teaming up with the Center for Wooden Boats for more than three years to bring you Tugboat Story Time! It's a free, drop-in event every second and fourth Thursday of the month, from 11:00 to 12-noon aboard our own Arthur Foss.
Parents, bring your tots down to the boat to listen to the CWB's educators read aloud story books that tell of ships and the sea, in a kid-friendly way (hook 'em young, we always say). The next session is this Thursday, January 14; we hope to see you there!
